Biography Greg Normand enters his fourth year as the head coach of the Michigan State Women’s' Lacrosse team. The Spartans finished 12-11 last year and won 39 games in three years under his direction. The Spartans qualified for the WCLL post-season tournament and led the conference in scoring for the third straight year. During Normand’s tenure in East Lansing, he has coached one WCLA All-American, 12 WCLL All-Conference players and serves as a member of the Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse League’s (WCLL) Board of Directors. He doubles as the communications director and secretary of the Women’s’ Collegiate Lacrosse Association (WCLA) Board of Directors, the US Lacrosse’s governing body for 238 women’s’ intercollegiate club lacrosse programs across the country. In addition to his Michigan State duties, Normand is the men's head lacrosse coach at Oxford High School, where the Wildcats are 33-13 in three seasons. The Michigan State coach has coached lacrosse for more than 20 years and has served as head coach for Central and Eastern Michigan universities. Normand was the head coach at St. Mary's Prep, where he was 48-33 with a regional title in 2009 and a MHSAA Division II state runner-up finish the same year. He was instrumental in assisting new programs at Waterford Kettering and Rochester during the early part of his career.
